Our Story

HIKE it, BIKE it, JEEP it, SHEEP it or SLEEP overnight at it. A visit to Welcome Rock is remote, exhilarating and unforgettable.

Tom, a fourth generation farmer, and his wife, Katie, welcome you to their nationally-protected 2,000 hectare High Country station. Just 45 minutes from Queenstown, New Zealand.

Come and stay overnight or have a wee adventure, enjoy breath-taking panoramic views, a rich gold mining history, hand restored trails, guided tours, comfortable accommodation - and meet the farm dogs breed for the high country.
